2. Cupping

Cupping is a therapy designed to stimulate the flow of blood and Qi within the superficial muscle layers. It is used for sore muscles, tension, neck pain and the common cold. In this therapy, acupuncturist will place small glass or plastic "cups" over specific areas of the body. A vacuum is created under the cup using heat or suction.

  

3. Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a treatment that uses a herb called mugwort. It may be burned on the handle of a needle, above the skin, on salt or on a slice of ginger or using moxa pot. This is used to "warm" acupuncture points or areas in order to build immunity, relieve cold and quicken the healing process.

 

4. Gua Sha

Gua sha is another technique used to release muscle tension, tightness and constriction. A specialized tool is used to gently scrape or rub the skin over a problem area. Gua sha feels a bit like a deep massage. This may leave some slight redness that will quickly dissipate.

  

5. Tuina

Tuina is a massage technique that moves Qi in various parts of the body. It is used to relieve muscle pain, tension and inflammation and to heal injuries.

 

6. Chinese herbal formula

Herbs can be a powerful adjunct to acupuncture care. They are used to strengthen, build and support the body or to clear it of excess problems like a cold, fever or acute pain. It is suggested that you build up your internal strength so you can receive the full benefits acupuncture has to offer.

7. Beauty therapy 

Cosmetic acupuncture is an effective, non-surgical treatment to reduce the signs of aging. The acupuncturist will place very fine disposable needles into the acupoints on the face and this stimulates local circulation to the face and collagen production which will fill out fine wrinkles, brighten and firm the skin.


8. Weight Management

Weight management program consist of body shaping+acupuncture+ herbal tea/medicine. weight management treatment offered in 6-10 session package depending on patient's choice and/or physical condition of the patient.
